In the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the charge in imagining, driving, and building ML solutions that produce immediate customer impact by helping them get more done than they ever imagined. We are looking for an excellent machine learning engineer who understands and has experience in this field and current Generative AI trends. This is a position in Northbound, a venture incubated by MVP Factory.

In the role you will...

Lead and develop AI services from PoC to Production
Optimize generative AI products for accuracy, speed, and scalability
Excel at designing, building, and fine-tuning Language Model-based solutions (e.g. Claude, GPT, Llama) for vision, NLP, and reasoning tasks
Write high-quality, well-tested code
Ensure software quality through code reviews and pair programming
Mentor junior team members and elevate the team’s performance

Your profile

A minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years focused on machine learning in a production environment
Excellent Python and SQL skills
Experience in designing and implementing ML solutions using AWS services like Bedrock, Textract, Sagemaker, etc. Experience with large language models (e.g., Claude, GPT, Llama) is highly preferred.
Hands on experience with prompt engineering for LLMs
Familiarity with designing and developing RESTful APIs, preferably using Flask or FastAPI frameworks
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified - Solutions Architect - Associate, Developer Associate, Data Engineer Associate, Machine Learning - Specialty).
You stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and AWS
Experienced in leading collaboration cross-functionally with a diverse team
Good to have an understanding of serverless technologies on AWS cloud (Aurora DB - PostgreSQL, Lambda, API Gateway)
