The Role

MVPF Venture Studio (MVPFVS) partners with exceptional founders to build and scale market-leading companies. Together with DB Schenker we launched the Schenker Venture Studio to turn unique ideas into the next generation of logistics companies set to disrupt the industry.

MVPF VS is looking for a CPO/CTO Co-Founder (f/m/x) profile for a venture in the field of telematic-based fleet insurance. As the CPO/CTO, you'll shape and design the European fleet insurance landscape! An Overview:

In the first 2-3 months, you'll work with us as a "Entrepreneur In Residence" on a pre-validated business. If, together, we validate the business model and are mutually excited it, a pre-seed of 300,000 will be provided towards YOUR company.
As the CPO/CTO Co-Founder, you'll be responsible for shaping the future of the company and building the company from scratch i.e. set up all operations, hiring and leading a kick-ass team and developing the business activities.
As the Co-Founder, the business is your responsibility and you hold most of the venture equity, owning the brand, product, team, strategy, etc - you want it, you build it, you run it.

Your profile

For this Future CPO/CTPO role we're looking for you if...

you've at least +5 years work experience building & leading product and/or engineering teams e.g. as a Head/Director of Product OR as a CPO OR CTPO within a fast paced StartUp setting.
you've an entrepreneurial mindset, high drive and ambitious work ethic coupled with passion and a willingness to succeed.
you’ve got an expert understanding of data engineering, data science, data security, privacy and devops.
your Product Management skills are to be reckoned with and are backed with an ability to bridge product and development.
you understand the fundamentals of VC funding i.e. funding experience is a plus, not a must
you've prior knowledge & experience in the logistics industry and/or insurance space. This would be a welcome plus.

For a venture in the field of e-commerce procurement operations we are looking for an exceptional tech/product co-founder (f/m/d). You will enable millions of fast growing e-commerce shops to reach global success by streamlining their international supply operations. We think that the future of global procurement should be based on data-driven forecasting and state-of-the-art collaboration technologies instead of Excel sheets and Email threads.

The Role:

In the first 2-3 months you will work with our Venture Partners and a business founder together as a “Founder in Residence” on a pre-validated business opportunity (or bring your own) and create a solution for it. If we come up with a validated business model that we mutually are excited about, we will provide €300,000 pre-seed capital for YOUR company
As Co-Founder you are then part of the founding team and you will be responsible for shaping the future of the company
You will build the company from scratch: Set up all operations, hire and lead a kick-ass team, and develop the business activities. Everything that needs to be done to win the market
As entrepreneurs you are fully responsible for the business and hold most of the venture’s equity
You own the brand, the product, team, strategy etc. - you want it, you build it, you run it

You have gained work experience in a Tech Startup and successfully build a product that gained traction
Leadership experience in building teams
You’re a bright mind and approach your work in a very precise but yet pragmatic manner

You have super powers in a function like engineering or product
You have gained relevant e-commerce experience either from working in marketplaces, brands or running your own shop(s).
You have been part of successful B2B SaaS ventures and know the basics and key metrics of B2B sales and marketing.
Your work experience in the startup industry allows you to understand the fundamentals of VC funding - direct involvement in fundraising is a plus
